Miyagikyo Sherry Cask Limited Edition. The company, founded in the small town of Yoichi, Hoikkaido, by Masataka Taketsuru, is by now Japan's leading maker of whisky. Despite this, it still adheres to the traditions of its founder. This bottle was released in September 2015, with only 3,000 bottles being made. It is Spanish sherry cask blended, and is high quality stuff, just as everything else from Nikka.
