山崎18年水楢桶2017限量版。水楢桶是一種稀有的日本橡木桶，由於日本嚴格限制砍伐樹齡80年以下的水楢木，所以供應十分有限，而且木質堅硬，開發和加工上都比較困難， 最早在1930年代被三得利用於威士忌陳年，會給威士忌帶來一些沈香，椰子，森林類等氣息。
首席調酒師Shinji Fukuyo來說這款威士忌包含18至50年桶齡的威士忌，微妙精致，多層次風味的平衡，無與倫比的深度和味道，尾韻持久，在嘴唇徘徊不散。

Wakatsuru Distillery obtained a license to distill whisky in 1953 and has been producing a small amount of whisky on and off since this time. This particular Saburomaru bottle is a 1990 version. A very rare whisky presented with an original box with only 500 bottles ever released!

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars. This limited bottling was distilled in 1999 and bottled after 14 years of maturation. Produced from single sherry cask #855. Bottled at cask strength.

Founded in 1955 with a keen eye on producing high quality whisky, Karuizawa was mothballed in 2000 and since then has achieved the kind of mythical stature reserved for only a select few distilleries. During production it solely used Golden Promise barley imported from Scotland - the Golden Promise was considered vital for long maturation. Direct fired stills, Sherry casks sourced from Spain and an on site cooperage all contributed to the high quality of their whisky. In 2011 Number One Drinks bought the remaining stock and it has been instrumental in the phoenix-like resurrection of a distillery that rarely released any bottles during its life time.
This Number One Drinks Asama bottling is a vatting of selected vintage casks from 1999 to 2000.
輕井澤的天然環境很適合釀酒，蒸餾所用的水源自附近的淺間山。淺間山是活火山，土壤肥沃，而且降雪量甚多，雪融化後的水就成為了滋養農地的優質水源。另外輕井澤使用糖化率偏低的傳統Golden Promise大麥，麥香濃郁，這以往被視作高級威士忌所用的大麥，成本較高。佔了九成多以上的輕井澤原酒，都是使用歐洲紅橡木雪莉桶作陳年，只有非常少量原酒用波本桶 Bourbon Cask 與紅酒桶Wine Cask 用作陳年。歐洲紅橡木雪莉桶的價錢是美洲白橡木波本桶的十倍，因此輕井澤威士忌至今成為愛好日本威士忌人士熱愛。

Wakatsuru Shozou Distillery is one of the long established, but not well known Japanese distilleries. Wakatsuru Distillery obtained a license to distill whisky in 1953 and has been producing a small amount of whisky on and off since this time. This particular whisky is the Oldest Japanese Whisky ever released. It was distilled in 1960, aged in an ex-red wine casks and was bottled 55 years later. Only 155 bottles were released. Comes with original wooden box, a good old whisky indeed!

The Essence of Karuizawa is a blended whisky containing a 45 Year Old Karuizawa distilled in 1970, plus another undisclosed 40 Year Old Scotch whisky. The result is this unprecedented prestige blend of the best of the two countries. The Karuizawa character is quite prominent: dark chocolate, scented wood, liquorice, coupled with a very smooth and elegant old Scotch. A very rare Karuizawa, with only 677 bottles ever released.
